Since 1898, Columbus School for Girls has instilled in girls and young women the strength and grace (“forte et gratum”) to discover their distinct potential. Miss Kelley and Miss Scott founded the School to offer an alternative to the “finishing schools” that were common educational options for girls at the dawn of the twentieth century.
