The Winegard is not an ios device, so it doesn't have a wifi-assist mode. If I turned off the wifi assist on the AT&T iPhones/iPads, that would just cause more data to be used up through the wifi connection - which really comes from the Verizon 4G signal. (I don't even know if my AT&T phones have a wifi-assist mode).

In the end, after speaking to VZ product to get a Winegard setup on their billing system, and VZ 3rd line support couldn't reconfigure the original SIM so I needed to go to a VZ store and get a new VZ SIM, re-associate the new SIM with the Winegard and have it re provisioned from scratch.

I just purchased a ConnecT 2.0 (WF2-95B). I had been planning to activate a Cricket SIM (ATT reseller) to use the ConnecT 2.0 on our RV. Unfortunately, as of January 19, 2021 they will no longer activate the Winegard because of the coming shutdown of the ATT 3G network. Apparently the ConnecT 2.0 is not compatible.
