Mar 13, 2017. Messages. 304. Location. North Pole. I have never had anything other than amazing service from Leupold. Whether it's the custom shop, or the repair department. I sent a scope in that had a pinched tube from another manufacturers rings and they replaced the tube free of charge.

It was on a loaner rifle; three generations killed their first buck with this rifle/scope. As I recall, I paid around $200 for it 40 years ago. Contacted Leupold and they are sending a new VX 3i.
Posted September 8, 2017. my b-i-l had a horse fall with him and bust a scope his Dad had bought 20 years before, sent it to Leupold and they sent him a new scope with a "sorry for the inconvenience" letter, this was about 25 years ago. Vortex is following the trail blazed by Leupold when it comes to customer service.
Apr 6, 2006. 16,140. 5. Excellent! In many years of using Leupold scopes (got my first one in 1974 and still have it) I've only had to send one in for repair, a 4.5-14 that the windage adjustment had failed. Repaired for free and served another 8-10 years after that repair. That scope was on my SWAT rifle and saw a lot of use.
