I booked 4 tickets last year, I spent $3,850, after trying to talk to Despegar more than 15 times, held in line for +55 minutes each time, I finally was able to talked to someone. I cancelled my trip and they should refund me in 6 months, has been 7 months and I did not get my money back, and its impossible talk to them.

Despegar reserved both rooms for two nights. I called and emailed Despegar and was assured it would be corrected. It was not, corrections at the hotel ended up costing me. I essentially paid for one room twice. Since the initial contact Despegar refuses to return emails or phone calls. I believe this is a front for a drug cartel.
