Travis told Kurt he’d keep him on as president until he could find someone else to take over the job.
He received gas fireplace training at Heat-n-glo’s factory in Minnesota, Travis Industries in Washington and other local factory training. In 2003, he started Fireplace Services Denver Flame where he continues in ongoing training through manufacturers, the National Fireplace Institute, the Fireplace Inspection Research and Education Service

Travis Industries. —. fireplace xtrordinair. I have two units in my home, and have had nothing but trouble. The larger unit, Fireplace Xtrordinair 44 DV XXL has burned out a blower every year, apparently from poor design of the two blowers in back of the heat box overheating. Each time it has cost about $700-$800 for the "dealer" to replace them.
