I knew about Stauer going in. I knew about Stauer going in. So, I went ahead and got the "$300" watch for $30 (+ $15 S&H). So far, it has kept very good time, even though watch geeks call it bottom-of-the-barrel bad Chinaesium. I don't expect it to be durable and long-lasting, but for $30, it has performed well and looks more $$$$ than it is.
